LOS ANGELES —The membership of MESA has announced the date for its annual THE (Transforming Home Entertainment) Summit, which will again showcase innovations that will drive new revenues and efficiencies in the home entertainment industry. THE Summit is scheduled for June 14 at the Luxe Sunset Blvd. Hotel in Los Angeles.
This think-tank format meeting gives studios and their partners a platform to foster an open, industry-wide discussion about transformative business models, technology innovations and workflows. As such, THE Summit conference committee is conducting a ‘call for ideas” to be presented at the event. Selected presenters will be given 15-minutes to share their strategy and then the floor will be opened in a moderated town hall-style discussion.
The day-long conference will kick off with a Change Management Workshop led by renowned innovation guru Jeff DeGraff, Professor of Management and Organizations at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. DeGraff will set the stage for the day’s proceedings by offering insights into how executives can manage change within their organizations that will create the culture, competencies, and leadership practices required to execute and sustain innovation. DeGraff has shared these proven strategies globally at top innovation incubators, think tanks and corporations such as the Aspen Institute, Eaton, GM, SPX, 3M, Apple, Coca-Cola, GE, Johnson & Johnson, LG, Pfizer, and Toyota.,
